Fonts and Sizes
Here you will find fonts that have worked well on posters in the past and ranges of the font sizes that print well.
FONTS
The font you choose for your text must be easily legible from a distance. It is important that you are using the correct text sizes on your poster to ensure that you can read it from far away, but also won't be too big when the posters are printed out.
Below are the ranges that work best for MOST text fonts:
Headings: 48-72pt.
Subheadings: 36-48pt.
Body Text: 28-36pt.
Subtext: 24-28pt.
Captions and Graphs: 18-24pt.
REMEMBER, when you print your poster out, everything will be enlarged, so it might look a little small on your computer.
